Dabur Amla Hair Oil Joins Hands with Government of U.P. to Magnify 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' Campaign

Varanasi, 7th February 2020:  Dabur Amla Hair Oil, World’s No. 1 hair oil brand from the House of Dabur, today joined hands with the Government of UP to promote and propagate the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' campaign launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. Under this initiative, Dabur Amla will reach out to more than 50 Government schools across the state of Uttar Pradesh, covering around 25,000 girls students to drive awareness about the importance of education in Life and offer scholarships to help bright and needy students pursue higher education. 
 
The campaign, christened ‘Tu Padhti Ja, Tu Badhti Ja’, was flagged off from Varanasi today, and will include sessions by local women achievers from the city regarding their journey and accomplishments to inspire the young girls and motivate them.

The programme will also seek to improve the enrollment levels in schools and reduce the dropout rates among girl students in rural and semi-urban schools, he said. “These girls just need one opportunity to achieve their goals in life. The need of the hour is to spread awareness about the importance of education in life and encourage students to learn further,” he added.
 
There will also be a strong emphasis on mindset change through training, sensitization, awareness raising and community mobilisation on ground.
