Nausea is stomach discomfort and the sensation of wanting to vomit. Nausea can be a precursor to vomiting the contents of the stomach. The condition has many causes and can often be prevented.

Black Salt

Black salt or kala namak is one of the most popular home remedies for nausea and indigestion. Just a pinch of black salt under the tongue could be very helpful in treating nausea.

Fresh Lemon

Lemons contain citric acid, a naturally-occurring compound thought to aid digestion and soothe the stomach. Try adding freshly-squeezed lemon juice to water and sip throughout the day.

Fresh Ginger

Ginger is an ancient herb used widely in history for its many natural medicinal properties and particularly as an antiemetic.

Common Recipes:

Cut a lemon into two halves. Sprinkle a very small pinch of black salt over the cut surface, and lick it. The strong aroma of lemon coupled with the salty taste will make you feel better. 

Cut a slice of ginger. Chew it for some time. You can use black salt to impart a salty taste to the ginger.
