Sesame Oil

Sesame oil has a warming effect that, in turn, helps in reducing muscle pain. It also works wonders during winters when the feet are often cold.

Cumin Oil

Using Cumin oil as a topical rub on sore joints has been shown to significantly soothe pain and improve quality of life

Menthol

Menthol has been used as a topical pain reliever since ancient times. Menthol is known as a counterirritant. It works by causing the skin to feel cool and then warm.

Common Recipes:

Heat about 50 ml of sesame oil gently and apply it when warm on the affected portion, after taking hot fomentation.

Dissolve 3 crystals of menthol and 2 drops of cumin oil in 3 teaspoons of sesame oil. For better results, you may use warm sesame oil. Apply this on the affected portion followed by a gentle massage for quick relief from muscular pain.
