New Delhi, Feb 4, 2022: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the World’s No. 1 Hair Oil brand Dabur Amla announced the launch of its ‘Gift Hair, Gift Confidence’ campaign, which seeks to bring about a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer survivors. The campaign was rolled out by Bollywood actress Lisa Ray with a special video message, inviting people to donate hair, which would be used to create wigs for Cancer survivors.

Speaking about her association with the initiative, Lisa Ray said, “During treatment, it is common for cancer survivors to lose hair, which shakes up one's confidence. Being a cancer survivor myself, I understand the importance of hair, which not only boosted my confidence but also helped me respond better to the medication. I thank Dabur Amla and Cherian Foundation for this noble cause to bring smiles on the faces of cancer survivors. Dabur Amla has launched a video Campaign with Lisa Ray to raise awareness about the disease and support the patients in this fight. “Lisa Ray is a cancer survivor, who has overcome the disease with confidence and courage. This video depicts the cancer fighters’ journeys and how their self-confidence gave them the strength and courage to bring beauty into their lives, sending a positive message to all the cancer survivors,” Mr. Parasher added.
